The Dive Planes for the Porsche 991.2 GT3/GT3RS were specifically designed to increase front-end downforce, increase the high-pressure airflow to the factory intake duct, and to keep drag increase minimal.
Depending on driver preference, no rear aero is needed to balance out these units. We have seen up to 0.7 second gains due to increased front end grip at high speed corners which allows improved corner speed. If as a driver you feel the car needs more rear stability, we would not suggest these units without adding a rear aerodynamic device.
The units were designed in CAD using scan data and optimized using CFD within ANSYS Fluent.
These units are constructed from 1.5mm thick pre-preg, autoclaved cured, 2x2 twill carbon in both a matte and gloss clear coat.
Dive planes, also referred to as canards, allow you to shift the aero balance forward, possibly aiding you and your setup in balancing out a large rear wing or diffuser.

Front splitters are very effective at producing front end downforce without significantly increasing drag and this is done by creating a large pressure delta between the top and bottom surfaces. We then incrementally improved the front splitter by adding design tweaks to the underside of the splitter to improve flow with our carbon splitter diffusers. All of this adds up to a front splitter kit for the 991.1 GT3RS that creates a large amount of additional front end downforce.
The splitter is produced from a carbon thermoplastic, which is the same material used in high forms of Motorsports. The material is not brittle, so no more issues with cracking like carbon fiber and ABS. It will not grab and bend under the car like aluminum units either. It is a great splitter material.
Bracketry was designed from scan data, precision cut and bent to ensure repeatability. The carbon diffusers were developed in CFD to promote flow and improve downforce generation. The splitter was designed to balance out large rear wings, more specifically our V1x for the chassis.

The Manthey Kit for the 991.2 GT3 RS was developed in close collaboration between the Porsche Development Centre in Weissach and Manthey-Racing GmbH. Thanks to coordinated suspension, aerodynamic and brake components, the breathtaking performance of the 911 GT3 RS has been tuned even more precisely to the demands of trackdays and tourist drives.
Put it another way: 6:54.340 minutes for the 20.8-kilometre Nürburgring-Nordschleife. In this impressive time, Porsche works driver Kévin Estre lapped the "Green Hell" in a GT3 RS with an identical kit in April 2021.
Aerodynamics package
The downforce of the vehicle is increased by installing various components, including additional air baffle elements in the area of the front wheels, flaps on the front apron and a new rear wing of carbon. Aerodiscs on the rear wheels, also made of carbon, reduce turbulence in the rear of the vehicle and further increase aerodynamic efficiency. To accommodate the higher aero load caused by the rear wing, the rigidity at the rear end has been massively increased. The rear wing itself is connected directly to the body with the help of special supports (in the GT3 RS without Manthey Kit, the wing is attached to the rear lid). Among other things, the aerodynamics package was tested in the wind tunnel in Weissach, which remains one of the most modern of its kind: The blower with a diameter of eight metres has extremely lightweight carbon blades and can generate wind speeds of up to 300 km/h (186 mph) on the tested vehicle in the measurement area.
