A Quick Look at OE Match

OE Match information on this page is based on details supplied by the manufacturer or distributor, plus any OE references provided with the parts.

Choosing the Right Fit for Your Porsche

Where OE Match is listed for Porsche, use the supplied model coverage and OE references to confirm suitability. Check details that commonly affect fitment such as model year, side/position, and connector type where relevant.

  • Often chosen when owners want OE-equivalent quality with sensible running costs, especially for routine service and wear items.
  • Typical reasons to replace include restoring reliability, addressing age-related wear, or refreshing multiple components during larger repair work.
  • Common defects from incorrect application include noise, premature wear, leaks, or fitment quirks if the wrong variant is selected or fitted with old seals/hardware.
  • Watch for symptoms such as unusual noises, early wear, or repeat failures after recent work, which can indicate mismatched parts or supporting items left worn.
  • Always cross-check OEM part numbers, read model-year notes, and verify compatibility before ordering.
  • For safety-critical components, confirm specification and fitment carefully and have installation checked by a competent technician.

Browse by Category

If you already know the area you are working on, start with the category and then filter by Porsche model. Where real-world symptoms and typical reasons to replace are provided, use them to keep the wording grounded.

Brakes — Brake components are renewed to restore stopping performance, address wear or upgrade a Porsche for fast road or track use. Common symptoms include vibration under braking, longer stopping distances, squealing, pulling to one side, warning lights and visible wear to discs and pads.

Brake Pad Wear Sensors — Brake pad wear sensors are replaced when pads are renewed or when warning lights indicate a broken or worn sensor. Symptoms include brake wear warnings even with new pads, damaged sensor cables, or broken clips around the caliper area.

Engine Electrical — Engine electrical parts are changed when there are starting, charging, ignition, or sensor-related faults that affect drivability and reliability, such as intermittent no-start, misfires, rough idle, poor charging, warning lights or heat-soak failures.

Service Parts — Service parts are replaced as routine maintenance to keep the engine and systems reliable, efficient, and protected, often resolving hard starting, rough idle, poor fuel economy and warning lights caused by clogged filters or worn ignition components.

Service Kits — Service kits bundle key service components to simplify maintenance and set the car back to a known baseline, especially useful when catching up on overdue servicing or dealing with general sluggish running, inconsistent idle and reduced performance.

  • For brake parts, confirm whether items are OE-equivalent replacements or performance upgrades and check if new fitting kits and sensors are required.
  • On service items and kits, match the kit to your exact Porsche model, engine and year, and review what is included so you can add any extra “while you are there” parts.

Rear indicator lamps - METAL housing with chrome internal reflectors.
This product is a pair of OE Match rear indicator lamps - left and right - engineered as direct-fit replacements for the original rear turn signal units on classic Porsche 911 models built between 1968 and 1983. Each lamp features a chrome internal reflector to boost visibility and maintain the classic look that suits the era-correct styling of early 911s.
SET OF 2

Fits:
Porsche 911 1968 - 1983

This set includes two OE Match rear indicator lamp assemblies specifically manufactured to match the dimensions, mounting points, and optical characteristics of the original Porsche equipment:

•  Left rear indicator lamp - OE ref no 90163194100
•  Right rear indicator lamp - OE ref no  90163194200

OE Match products are engineered to closely replicate original Porsche parts in fit, finish, and performance - giving you a direct-fit replacement kit.
These lamps feature chrome inner reflectors that reflect and amplify light, providing a clear and consistent signal to other drivers.

The rear indicator lamps serve as the vehicle’s turn signal lamps at the rear, alerting other road users when the driver intends to change direction or merge. When the turn signal is activated, the appropriate lamp flashes in synchronisation with the vehicle’s signalling system. The chrome reflector enhances the illumination and visibility of the amber or clear lens, depending on the variation used.

Proper rear indicators are essential for:
  Communicating turn intentions
  Enhancing road safety
  Meeting legal lighting requirements
Maintaining the classic aesthetic of the Porsche 911

Rear indicator lamps are crucial for communication and safety on the road. On classic vehicles like the early Porsche 911, the original lamps can suffer from:
  Chrome reflector corrosion or pitting
  Fading or cracked housings
Reduced visibility due to aged lens or reflector
  Loose or worn mounting points

A worn or dim rear indicator lamp may not signal your intent effectively, increasing the risk of misunderstanding from other drivers. Replacing them with a matched OE Match set restores both safety and the authentic vintage appearance that these classic sports cars are known for.

When to replace.  Replace this rear indicator lamp set when:
Turn signals appear dim or inconsistent
Chrome reflectors show corrosion, tarnish, or wear
The housing or lens is cracked, faded, or brittle
You’re restoring the vehicle and want period-correct lighting
Mounting points are loose or deteriorated

Diagram Ref No. 18, 18, 20, 21, 30, 31 and 32.

This comprehensive service kit centers around the OE Match engine oil cooler (OE ref part no. 99610702559) - a direct-fit cooling radiator that exchanges heat between engine oil and the coolant circuit to keep oil temperatures within proper limits under all driving conditions. In addition to the cooler itself, the kit includes authentic Porsche OEM parts necessary for a proper installation and leak-free operation.

Kit Includes:
•  OE Match Engine Oil Cooler - OE ref no 99610702559
•  Porsche Genuine hose - 99610623053
  Porsche Genuine Seals - 99970754740 and 99970738940
Porsche Genuine hex screw - N10546403
Porsche Genuine hose clamps  - 99951255400 and 99951265209

These genuine parts are matched with the OE Match cooler to ensure factory-level sealing and durability, removing the guesswork from sourcing the correct components for an engine oil cooler service.

The engine oil cooler and its associated seals and hardware are subject to thermal cycling, pressure variation, and long-term exposure to heat and chemicals. Over time, coolers can become corroded, clogged, or internally separated, and seals can dry out, harden, or fail. This leads to:
  Oil leaks
  Elevated oil temperatures
  Reduced lubrication efficiency
Possible engine damage from overheating or loss of oil pressure

Replacing the entire oil cooler and related seals at the same time delivers a comprehensive refresh of the system - reducing the risk of repeat leaks, improving cooling efficiency, and helping prolong engine life.

When to replace. Install this oil cooler service kit when:
You detect oil or coolant leaks near the oil cooler
The vehicle has high mileage with original components
You’re experiencing oil temperature fluctuations or overheating conditions
You are performing a coolant system or engine refurbishment
Internal oil cooler passages show blockage or contamination

Rear anti-roll link bushings play an important role in maintaining stable handling by allowing the stabilizer bar to transfer forces between the left and right suspension, helping reduce body roll and improve balance during cornering. Over time, bushings can harden, crack, or deform due to age, road conditions, and repeated suspension loads. Worn bushings may cause knocking noises over bumps, increased vibration, and reduced rear-end stability.

What This Product Does:

  • Provide cushioned, pivoting mounts for the rear anti-roll bar links
  • Allow controlled movement of the sway bar under load
  • Reduce body roll during cornering
  • Improve rear suspension stability and balance
  • Dampen noise and vibration transmitted into the cabin

Symptoms Of A Worn Or Failed Bushing:

  • Buzzing or vibration felt over rough surfaces

Handling & Stability Issues

  • Noticeable body lean in corners
  • Loose or vague rear handling feel
  • Reduced confidence in directional stability

Wear Patterns

  • Uneven or accelerated rear tyre wear
  • Inconsistent alignment readings
  • Play detected at sway bar links during inspection

Physical Signs

  • Cracks, splits, or visible deterioration of the bushing material
  • Excessively hardened or deformed rubber/elastomer

Why Replacement Matters:
  • New bushings allow the sway bar links to operate correctly, reducing body roll and improving balance in turns and quick direction changes.
  • Fresh bushings absorb vibration and reduce noise more effectively than old ones, leading to a more refined ride.
  • Replacing worn bushings eliminates knocking and rattling caused by excessive play in the sway bar link connections.
  • Properly functioning bushings reduce stress on link joints and other suspension parts, helping prevent premature wear.

Why you should replace the flex disc

  • Worn rubber = vibration & driveline shock. The flex disc isolates rotational forces, as the rubber hardens, cracks or tears, it transmits vibration and can produce shuddering at idle/low speeds or a clunk during acceleration. Owners commonly report these symptoms before a failure.
  • Prevents secondary damage. A failed flex disc can allow excessive play between the driveshaft and transmission flange, stressing flange bolts, the driveshaft and the transmission output — leading to far more expensive repairs.
  • Affordable, quick fix vs replacing the whole shaft. Replacing this single part is significantly cheaper than replacing the full cardan/driveshaft assembly and restores NVH and drivability.

Common issues / failure signs

  • Noticeable vibration through the car (often at certain speeds or under acceleration).
  • Clunking or knocking from the center/rear when accelerating from low speed or shifting — typically caused by lost rubber compliance or torn bores.
  • Visible cracking, chunks missing, or separation of the rubber around the bolt bores (inspect visually with the car safely supported). Micro-cracks can quickly grow into failure.
  • Corroded or stretched mounting hardware — always inspect/replace bolts and washers when servicing the guibo.

Rear beam bushing inserts play an important role in reducing noise and vibration while helping maintain correct rear suspension geometry under load. Over time, the bushing material can harden, crack, or deform due to age, heat, and constant suspension movement. Worn inserts may cause clunking noises, increased harshness, rear-end instability, and uneven tyre wear caused by alignment changes.

What This Product Does:

  • Provide damped support between the rear axle beam and the vehicle’s body/chassis
  • Help absorb vibration and road harshness before it reaches the cabin
  • Ensure consistent rear suspension geometry under load
  • Reduce noise and vibration from rear suspension movement
  • Support stable rear handling and ride comfort

Symptoms Of A Worn Or Failed Rear Beam Bushing Insert:

Noise & Comfort Issues

  • Clunking, knocking, or thudding noises from the rear suspension
  • Increased vibration felt through the floor or rear seats
  • Buzzing or vibration at certain speeds

Handling & Stability Changes

  • Rear end instability or “wandering” feel at higher speeds
  • Poor response in rear handling during turns
  • Uneven tyre wear due to alignment variation

Wear / Physical Signs

  • Visible hardening, cracking, or splitting of the bushing material
  • Excessive movement at the rear beam connection when inspected
  • Flat, deformed, or deteriorated rubber/elastomer inserts

Why Replacement Matters:
  • New inserts absorb vibration and road shock better than old, hardened bushings — leading to a smoother and quieter ride.
  • Properly functioning bushings help keep the rear axle beam aligned, preserving handling balance and tyre contact.
  • Replacing worn inserts eliminates clunking and vibration caused by excessive movement in the rear beam mount.
  • A solid rear beam connection reduces stress on differential mounts, trailing arms, and other suspension links.
