The 2024 Porsche Taycan (9J1.2) introduces the facelifted version of Porsche’s first all-electric sports saloon, with major improvements in range, charging speed, and efficiency. Thanks to new battery technology with higher energy density and enhanced thermal management, the Taycan now offers significantly extended driving distances compared with the pre-facelift 9J1.1.

In its 2024 configuration, the Taycan with the Performance Battery Plus delivers a real-world range of up to 495 km (≈ 307 miles) in ideal conditions, depending on model variant. Standard battery versions also see meaningful range increases, while efficiency gains from optimized motors and aerodynamics ensure better performance on longer trips. Fast-charging has been improved, with peak rates enabling shorter charging stops and more consistent high-speed charging.

The updated Taycan lineup includes familiar models such as the Taycan, Taycan 4, Taycan 4S, GTS, Turbo, and Turbo S, now joined by the range-topping Turbo GT. Across the board, the 9J1.2 Taycan combines Porsche’s sharp dynamics and sports car DNA with the practicality of longer electric range, reaffirming its place as a benchmark in the high-performance EV segment.
