Lambda Sensor Extensions

Product Details:
There is no guarantee this will prevent a CEL from triggering
Universal O2 spacers with real precious metal Catalytic Converters lengthen the distance between the O2 spacer(s). We've taken our spacers a step further by having built-in catalytic converters to allow the ECU to properly read exhaust gas and perform at optimal performance.
Oxygen sensors can occasionally trigger a CEL on stock vehicles due to the new advances of technology and would require an O2 spacer to bring the vehicle back to equilibrium and allow the ECU to read exhaust gases within the proper threshold.

Product Details:
Universal O2 Spacers with Catalytic Converters scrub the exhaust and lengthen the distance between the O2 sensor(s) and the exhaust flow to reduce the chance of a CEL.
We've taken our O2 spacers a step further. The factory ECU compares the readings from a pair of oxygen sensors to measure the effectiveness of the catalysts. When a high-flow cat or catbypass pipe is used the exhaust gases reach the O2 sensor faster and uncleaned, leading to high chances to throw a CEL. Our O2 spacers retract the secondary oxygen sensors from the direct flow of gases, restoring the balance that the ECU requires when using aftermarket catalysts or catbypass pipes. The high quality built in catalysts scrub the exhaust to further reduce the chance of a CEL. Two fitting options and the two piece design allow for adjustment to get best possible fitment and results.

Porsche Lambda Sensor Extensions
At Design911, we supply a wide range of lambda sensor extensions for Porsche models, helping you maintain, personalise and enjoy your car while accommodating exhaust and emissions upgrades.
Why do Porsche Lambda Sensor Extensions matter?
Lambda sensor extensions affect how accurately your Porsche’s engine management system can monitor exhaust gases and control fuelling in everyday use. When exhaust layouts are changed or space is tight, the original sensor position can become impractical, exposing the sensor to excess heat, strain or awkward routing. Using suitable extensions allows you to maintain correct sensor placement, protect wiring and avoid avoidable engine management issues as the car ages or is modified.
- Keep your Porsche looking smart rather than tired or neglected
- Help protect the surrounding area from dirt and corrosion where relevant
- Reduce minor niggles such as looseness, rattles or mismatched parts
- Support long-term enjoyment, pride of ownership and potential resale value
Common options & kits

When should you review or replace your Porsche lambda sensor extensions?
Checking lambda sensor extensions regularly helps you spot heat damage, insulation cracks or connector wear before they affect engine management accuracy or lead to more expensive repairs later on.
- Existing parts are worn, cracked, scuffed, heat-damaged, corroded or missing
- You notice intermittent lambda-related fault codes or wiring appears strained
- You have had exhaust or catalytic converter work carried out and need extra length to route sensors correctly
- You want the car to feel dependable and avoid false warning lights before resale or after performance upgrades
If any of these apply, it is a good time to review your lambda sensor extensions and replace anything that is past its best, so your Porsche stays dependable and enjoyable to drive.
