We thought the 992 GT3 was a bit quiet from the factory, even with PSE turned on. This system gives the high revving 4.0L the exhaust note it should have had from the factory, without introducing any interior drone.

Fabspeed Valvetronic Nordschleife cat-back exhaust system.

The Fabspeed Valvetronic Nordschleife Cat-Back Exhaust System gives the 992 GT3 a truly exotic sports car sound, all while retaining the functionality of PSE (Porsche Sport Exhaust). Our design process started with 3D scanning the entire OEM exhaust system using our CREAFORM 700 Handscan so that we could make a complete Solidworks 3D model of the exhaust. We then designed the exhaust and fixtures using that model so that the exhaust fit perfectly to OEM standards. After multiple revisions for sound and dyno testing we decided to use our signature cast X-Pipe to tie the two cylinder banks together for exhaust scavenging and to defeat resonance. The exhaust valves are made by Helical Limited in the United Kingdom. These ISO 9001 certified valves are the same ones Ferrari, McLaren and Porsche use on their GT cars. The piping is mandrel bent from T304 Stainless steel, and you have five different tip options to choose from.

SOUND:

With PSE off our Valvetronic exhaust gives a nice subtle increase in volume. With PSE on it turns the 4.0L's exhaust note into a truly exotic sound with a significant increase in volume. The exhaust note changes from the smooth purr of the OEM exhaust to the aggressive race-bred snarl of a 911 CUP car. (If you need to cut down on how loud your exhaust is because of race track rules, we sell turn down tips which cut 3-6db of exhaust SPL.)

POWER:

This system improves on Porsche's design by increasing pipe diameter from 2.5 in to 2.75 in and using our signature cast X-pipe instead of the factory H-Pipe. On our DynoJet we saw +14 whp at 4200 RPM and a healthy dose of torque down low at 4200 RPM gaining 17 ft/lbs of tq. That's 16 HP gain at the crank.

Fabspeed RENNKRAFT™ Modular GTLM exhaust package.

This is a complete headers to tips exhaust solution for the 992 GT3. Designed to be the most powerful emissions compliant exhaust system possible. We used all 25+ years of Porsche exhaust design experience and our finest manufacturing techniques to engineer this incredible modular system. We started with the headers. From our experience designing our 991/991.2 Long Tube Headers, we knew that "long tube" headers were essential for making BIG power on the GT3 platform. After dozens of dyno runs and many revisions to runner length, diameter, and collector design we moved on to the catalytic converters and rear section. With perfectly optimized headers and cats, there was no room to fit the factory muffler section, so that went out the window. In its place we implemented extra large 200 cell HJS cats and our signature cast X-pipe. These cats flow so much better than stock, that we only gained 1-2 peak WHP when we tested the system with no cats. You can see the dyno graph for yourself above. Finally, after much testing we found that our cast X-pipe provided some significant gains from 3-6K RPM when compared to a simple crossover tube. With the RENNKRAFT™ system, you can easily swap between catted and cat bypass using the quick release v-band clamps (patent pending). So if you're going to the track you can swap in cat-bypass pipes.

SOUND:

This system isn't for the faint of heart, it'll turn your GT3 into a snarling race-bred monster. This system is LOUD, it pops and gurgles, and it will absolutely scream at redline. This is at the cost of some interior drone and day-to-day livability.

POWER:

This is the way; the most powerful emissions compliant 992 GT3 exhaust system on the market. Max gains of 31 WHP and 39 ft/lbs of TQ are seen at 4250 RPM. That's 35 HP at the crank! Gains of over 20 WHP are carried all the way from 6000 RPM up to redline. You're going to feel the power that this system adds to your GT3!

Why We Choose HJS Catalytic Converters:

HJS German imported catalytic converters are made from some of the highest grade materials you can find in a catalytic converter. This yields high performance gains and longevity so it wont deteriorate over time like lower grade catalytic converters. These catalytic converters flow up to 93-95% of a straight pipe in most applications. The benefit is that you get the "straight pipe sound" while still being able to provide enough emissions scrubbing to prevent a check engine light. For those individuals looking to maximize performance, shed over 25 lbs, and realize full sound potential a complete race system is a logical conclusion. By pursuing a full system replacement we can eliminate the restrictive cat assemblies, the “particulate filters”, and the giant 7 ⅝ connection point to the factory rear muffler assembly. A simple flange optimization to our previous generation GT3 Competition Headers allows us to get rid of the factory 991 gen connection point requiring costly OEM clamps and donut gaskets and utilize a more efficient v-band connection point.
Even a premier engineering masterpiece like the GT3 comes from Porsche fitted with exhaust manifolds restricted in terms of primary tubing length, runner diameter, and merge collection efficiency due to dense catalytic converters, mass production, and emission restriction compromises. By refining the interface between the flange/primary tubes, using smooth radius large diameter bends, and implementing performance oriented collectors with merge spikes, we have been able to achieve increased flow, response, and performance with a more aggressive exhaust note to match. A slip on merge collector was not considered to prevent any chances of exhaust leaks. Instead we focused on designing a high flow collector from CAD to CNC for a no compromise end result. This bespoke billet collector allows for maximized runner length and the elimination of several welds in the interest of durability.

REAR EXHAUST SECTION

The rear of the SOUL Race Exhaust System is optimized into a single, full 3″ flow. The design of the factory system includes very large catalytic converters terminating into a very heavy dual entry muffler with restrictive piping with variations throughout the flow path which hinder performance. Those seeking a race setup will appreciate the 25+lbs weight savings and concentration on increasing exhaust flow.
From there we dove into creating a header-back system to maintain maximum flow characteristics with a higher, smoother pitch and aggressiveness akin to an RSR race car. This full 3” diameter system is made from thick .065” wall T304L stainless steel and TIG welded with back purging to ensure it withstands hardcore track abuse. It’s also modular to allow interchanging between catless or high flow catted assemblies with minimal effect on exhaust velocity. After the catted/catless section, the exhaust flows into an X section where we took care to minimize the diameter reduction while maximizing the blend of the exhaust to create that higher smoother pitch you hear in the videos.
The electronic valve actuators can not be simply removed from the valves or else the car will throw a CEL and put it into a reduced rev limiter to 6k rpm. We have engineered valve simulators to allow removal of the valves! Simply plug the simulators into the factory valve harnesses and expect no check engine lights or issues!

SOUND
