The H&R electronic lowering module ETS is a product for cars which have an OE air- or ABC-suspension. By using the H&R ETS module, the car is lowered by approx 40mm, which does not only change the center of gravity but also optimize the driving dynamics as well as the driving safety. A sporty performance and harmonic optics is given without mechanical work. The H&R ETS module consists of an electronic hardware- module including plug connectors, a TÜV approval and a detailed mounting instruction. The H&R ETS module can be re-installed easily.

About Lowering Springs

Lowering Springs – Improved Stance, Handling and Ride Control

Lowering springs are suspension upgrade components designed to reduce ride height, lower the vehicle’s centre of gravity and improve handling performance. By replacing standard factory springs with shorter, higher-rate springs, lowering springs enhance cornering stability, reduce body roll and give the vehicle a more aggressive, purposeful stance.

At Design911, we supply lowering springs from trusted OE and performance suspension brands, engineered to maintain ride quality while delivering improved control. Whether you’re refreshing worn suspension components or upgrading for fast-road performance and visual impact, lowering springs provide a balanced and effective suspension upgrade.

What Do Lowering Springs Do?

Lowering springs replace standard suspension springs to reduce ride height and increase spring rate, helping the vehicle sit lower and respond more precisely to steering input. Their key benefits include:

  • Lower centre of gravity for improved stability
  • Reduced body roll during cornering
  • Improved steering response and road feel
  • Enhanced vehicle stance and appearance

When correctly matched to compatible dampers, lowering springs deliver noticeable handling improvements without sacrificing everyday usability.

Why Upgrade to Lowering Springs?

Lowering springs are a popular upgrade because they offer:

  • Improved handling with minimal modification
  • Better balance during spirited driving
  • Reduced squat and dive under acceleration and braking
  • A sportier, performance-oriented look

Performance lowering springs are developed through extensive testing to maintain correct suspension geometry, ride comfort and durability.

When Should You Replace or Install Lowering Springs?

Lowering springs should be installed when:

  • Factory springs are worn or sagging
  • You want improved handling for fast-road driving
  • You are upgrading dampers or other suspension components
  • Enhancing vehicle stance is part of a performance build

Replacing springs during suspension servicing ensures optimal performance and avoids uneven ride height or handling issues.

At Design911, our lowering springs meet high engineering standards for fitment, reliability and performance.
