Praised as the flagship of the Cayenne lineup, the Turbo S garnered acclaim from enthusiasts seeking a high-performance SUV. Its appeal extended beyond sheer speed to include impressive cornering capabilities. Built upon the foundation of the 4.8ltr V8 engine found in the Cayenne S and Cayenne Turbo, the Turbo S boasted a higher compression ratio, resulting in an additional 50hp. Equipped with an 8-speed Tiptronic S transmission as standard, the Turbo S epitomized the sportiest variant of the second-generation Porsche Cayenne.
In line with its counterparts, the Turbo S underwent a facelift for the 2015 model year, with the revised engine offering an extra 20 hp compared to its predecessor. Retaining the twin-turbo 4.8ltr V8 powerplant, it was mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission. Similar to the Turbo model, the Turbo S featured standard air suspension but also boasted a Ceramic Brakes system for enhanced stopping power.
