997 MK1 Carrera 4S 3.8L 2005-08

Building on the triumph of the earlier 996 Carrera 4S, Porsche unveiled the 997.1 Carrera 4S in 2005, boasting a power boost of 29 PS (21 kW; 29 bhp) compared to the base Carrera.

Available in all-wheel-drive configurations including Coupé, Cabriolet, and Targa variants, the Carrera 4S came packed with enhancements beyond the standard Carrera including enhanced engine displacement (3.8ltr vs 3.6ltr) resulting in increased power. Lowered suspension featuring Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) offering dynamically adjustable dampers and equipped with 19-inch wheels for heightened performance and aesthetics.

Porsche upgraded braking system to further augment stopping power and added a sport exhaust system for a more exhilarating driving experience. Bi-Xenon headlights were added for improved visibility and style and the interior was adorned with sleek aluminium trim, elevating the cabin's ambiance and sophistication.
