Please note: the threads needs to be treated with loctite before installation (not sold with the product).

Replacing your factory engine mounts with these performance semi-solid mounts will dramatically decrease engine movement which then will result in better acceleration and handling of your Porsche.

CNC machined mounts with PU bushes are absolute must have for any car on track or on the street. Very easy to replace by experienced DIYers.

Solid engine mounts are a smart upgrade to any track or aggressive street car, and were installed on Porsche factory race cars. Stock mounts are made of compliant rubber, and contribute to imprecise shifting and inferior throttle response. Solid mounts create slightly more interior vibration than rubber mounts, but securely connect the engine and transmission assembly to the car's unibody, creating a crisper throttle response and shifter feel. Rennline's solid mounts are CNC machined from 6061 aluminum for strength and light weight, and come as a pair with new Grade 8 mounting hardware. Sold as a set of (2)

Rennline Engine Carrier Reinforcement Gusset Kit.

One of the only weak points on the 964 and 993 chassis is the engine carrier. When these models are tracked, or are fitted with stiffer than stock engine mounts, the engine carrier should be reinforced. If it is not, the carrier is known to bend, crack, or even break cleanly away from an engine mount in response to increased vibration and stress. The Porsche factory was aware of this problem and equipped its race cars with a reinforced engine carrier. Rennline now exclusively offers an engine mount reinforcement gusset kit that can be welded to the engine carrier by your workshop.

When these models are tracked, or are fitted with stiffer than stock engine mounts, the engine carrier is known to bend, crack, or even break cleanly away from an engine mount in response to increased vibration and stress. The Porsche factory was aware of this problem and equipped its race cars with a reinforced engine carrier. Rennline now offers a tube frame replacement for your factory engine carrier that is proven to be much stronger, and can withhold the stresses of any track day, while offering a 1.4lb weight savings over a gusseted factory carrier. All parts manufactured on cnc equipment and meticulously tig welded, finished with a matte black powdercoat.
