Dissident's carbon fibre 992 Carrera Ducktail for targa and Cabriolet models features OEM+ grade fitment directly replacing the original plastic spoiler cover. The entire spoiler motor and mechanism remains and no electrical modifications are required for fitment. Once fitted the ducktail utilises the OEM spoiler motor to still lift and drop as it did previously. Fitment takes minutes and is 100% reversible should this ever be required. Not cutting / drilling / bonding required.
This item is suitable for all 992.1 & 992.2 Carrera Targa and Cabriolet Models. It is not suitable for Coupe Models or models fitted with an aero kit fixed wing. For Coupe models our specific Coupe ducktail should be selected.

The Ducktail spoiler must be in the down position when operating the roof
The Ducktail is available in a range of finishes including gloss lacquered visual carbon, bare / raw carbon and primer finished. We enclose a paint mask template to achieve the visual carbon panel shown in some of our images that flows from the engine cover. If you wish to have any visual carbon accents showing do not select an item in primer.
All our components feature our unique designs and are made by hand in the UK and cured via autoclave in carbon fibre / metallic tooling precision made tooling to deliver OEM grade components weave matched to standard OEM weaves used on mirrors and roof panels.

We reimagined the design of the rear end of the 992 GT3 and the OEM plastic wing endplates are an easy first upgrade for your GT3. Over 30% larger for improved aero efficiency yet 50% lighter than the OEM units, the lift-to-drag ratio is improved with the larger surface area of the endplates under the leading edge of the rear wing.
The larger endplates help to manage the airflow around the rear wing, reducing vortices and drag, therefore offering an improvement to the aero efficiency and looks at the same time. Our design builds on the OEM units by correcting two important lines, the first is the rear ducktail wing and the other one spills into the rear arches and window. A perfect marriage of form and function.
Weighing in at only 150 grams each. The endplates are made by hand from prepreg carbon of the highest quality. Using aluminium molds and baked to perfection. Our inner skeleton structure is made out of CFRP that is light weight but gives the hollow structures the rigidity they need and then some. They are hand sanded and polished to a mirror like shine. We then protect them with a UV resistant epoxy that is backed by our 5 year warranty against cracking and yellowing. No questions asked.
We supply all sets with the same adhesive Porsche uses from the factory (3M VHB)
We also include a small bottle of primer liquid from 3M, that will further improve the bond of your Porsches new wings. A full user manual is included in the hand crafted box they come in, with all the steps described in great detail with illustrations. The OEM endplates are easily removed with zero use of force, and once the new Ångström endplates are mounted the procedure can be easily reversed if you ever decide to do so.

The Verus Engineering Increased AOA (Angle Of Attack) Mount Kit replaces the factory mounts and allows for a wider range of angles with the OEM wing spoiler blade. This means more rear downforce from the factory wing, while retaining OEM adjustment, OEM looks, and OEM feel. The units bolt directly into the carbon wing exactly like the OEM units and are produced in house on our 5-axis CNC mills out of 6061-T6 aluminum.
Utilizing state-of-the-art analysis software during the R&D process, we were able to ensure that the OEM wing improved performance by increasing the AOA (Angle of Attack). Using in house scan data during the design process, we were able to design the wing mounts with aesthetics that follow the factory Porsche design language and bolts on like an OEM piece.
These units are great for owners that believe the car to need a slight bump in rear downforce to settle the car at speed, or as part of our Ventus 1 package that offers a slight bump in overall vehicle downforce, front and rear.
