To be used when converting a G-Model 911 or a 964/993 engine to a turbocharged/supercharged engine with a 964 induction based Drive by Wire set-up

Conversion kit to a Porsche 964 based intake system to become a DBW (Drive by wire) intake based 74mm original Bosch throttle body (Sometimes referred to as 76mm) specifically executed all in CNC milled billet aluminum.

This is sold either with the intention to convert a Porsche 964/993 engine or to adapt and convert a 964 intake onto a G-model car when turbocharging (That sounds fun!).

Kit includes:

  • Throttle body runner for 74mm throttle body in aluminum 
  • Vacuum port on throttle body runner
  • Original Bosch electronic throttle body
  • Original Bosch MAP-T-sensor
  • Connecting pipe out of aluminum replacing the resonance tube

Intake runners for the Porsche 911 G-model (2-bolt) or 964/993 (3-bolt) engine are made out of billet aluminium, 3D milled in a 5-axis machine. The port diameter indicated in the options is the diameter of the port in the cylinder head. 

The following parts are to be reused from your original 964 intake:
Rubber boots and clamps
The plenums (inlet manifolds)

Aluminium or plastic intake plenum is not included in the kit and neither are any of the items specifically listed as excluded above.

Product Overview:

Inlet conversion kit consists of the throttle body runner and the resonance tube. This is what you need to convert a Porsche 996 GT3 MK1 or MK2 plenum to fit on a Porsche 964 engine. This kit is solid and made from a modified PA12 material making the original Porsche parts feel old and flimsy in comparison. 

Components Include: 

  • Throttle body runner made out of a modified PA12 material and an industrial 3d moulding process
  • Seal and original Porsche 997 GT3 Bosch 82mm electronic throttle body
  • Vacuum tube with original resonance flap internals. Note the internals come from refurbished original 996 parts.
  • Vacuum solenoid and reservoir with mounts as per images
  • Rubber boots and clamps
  • Vacuum connections, check valve and extra hose
