Stock Spec Spring Plate Bushes
A true stock spec bushing replacement for spring plates.
Spring plate bush condition can be accessed by looking at the hole in the spring plate cover. It should be concentric around the spring plate. When the bushings deform, the cover becomes non-concentric around the spring plate and in extreme cases actually contacts the cover plate – metal-to-metal.
More than just bushings, this is a full kit that includes inner and outer bushings (4 pcs), adhesive, instructions, long bolts to press in the bushings, and abrasive cloth to prep the surface.
Rubber is the choice if you want to restore factory ride and performance in a zero-maintenance solution. Check our PolyBronze Bearings for a high-performance solution.
Also see our Bushings Removal Tool to simplify the removal of old bushings.

What This Product Does:
- Holding the torsion bar end and anchoring it to the chassis or suspension structure.
- Providing a mounting surface for the torsion bar to twist against, effectively managing the rear spring action (torsional stiffness).
- The adjustable aspect allows you to change preload, camber, or ride height for tuning the rear suspension setup to your desired performance balance (road or track)
- Helping maintain correct geometry as suspension moves, ensuring better tire contact, handling, and responsiveness.
- Rust / corrosion / fatigue: The old plates may be rusty or weakened, especially in classic cars.
- Sagging or misalignment: Rear ride height may fall, or camber might drift under load.
- Uneven tire wear: Because geometry is off or not held firmly, the tires may wear more on one edge.
- Poor rear handling / unpredictable grip: The rear may feel loose under cornering or shift unpredictably under load.
- Difficulty setting or maintaining geometry: Without adjustability, it’s harder to dial in suspension tweaks, especially for track use or changed setups (wider tires, stiffer suspension, etc.).
Factory spring plates offer limited adjustment. This RS-style sports version allows quick and accurate tuning of ride height, preload, and camber, giving sharper handling and better tire contact for both road and track.

Change Torsion Bars and Adjust Ride Height
QuickChange spring plates make fast-work of torsion bar re-indexing and replacement. Screw-type adjuster makes corner balancing and ride height adjustment a breeze. Pairs the high quality of the factory design with ease of servicing.
• 5 minute torsion bar changes
• Fast and easy ride-height adjustment
• Accepts standard bushings
Setup is fast and easy
If you've ever re-indexed torsion bars to correct ride height, you can really appreciate the benefits of QuickChange. Used in combination with our QuickChange Torsion Bars and Polybronze bearings, this spring plate allows rapid replacement or re-indexing of torsion bars.
QuickChange Torsion Bar Changeout
QuickChange Torsion Bars can be extracted through the QuickChange Spring Plate without removing any bolts. Alignment settings are maintained. You don't even need to remove the wheel from the car. Changing torsion bars is a 5 minute per side operation!
Unlike other aftermarket spring plates, QuickChange Spring Plates bolt the plates together. This prevents the plates "halves" from sliding against each other and eliminates failures and metallic clicking noises common with competing products.
Can be used with any torsion bar and bushing that fits factory spring plates – not included – however QuickChange Torsion bars and PolyBronze Bearings are required to use torsion bar extraction features.
Kits for '69-'86 long wheel base cars include a screw type height adjuster. Kits for '65-'68 short wheel base cars use an eccentric bolt height adjuster for improved tire clearance.
To add QuickChange functionality to your existing set of '77-'86 factory adjustable spring plates or ASP, you can order the Splined Hub separately.
Splined Hub Kits
The Splined Hub Kit includes the small plate and adjuster hardware to mate with the large plate from your donor set of factory adjustable spring plates, or the ASP. Order one kit per car.

Features & Quality
Our coilover-only spring plate system has the added features and thoughtful engineering you expect from Elephant Racing.
Rubber Seals
Rubber seals keep water and contaminate out of the oversized precision rod ends. Seals are critical to extend rod end life for both racers and street cars. Racers have the occasional "agricultural excursion", covering the suspension with grit and dirt that accelerates wear of unsealed rod ends. Street cars have occasional exposure to water when washing or in rain. Rubber seals are key to long life.
Build Quality
Skillful TIG welding and machined radius on the plate. Hard anodize burgundy aluminum parts are tough, attractive and look good on most any color car. Top quality materials throughout.
Hardened alloy steel blades and aircraft grade aluminum to handle even high HP turbos.
Precision, Oversize rod end – For long trouble-free performance.
Ease of adjustment
Drilled hole positively defines plate length ensuring proper thread engagement at double adjuster and rod end, preventing accidental over-extension possible with double-slotted designs.
Two Height Settings
Choose stock height or 1 inch raise for anti-squat geometry (requires matching raise of trailing ar
