Fuel Injectors

Fuel injector seal.
Sleeve for injector, fitted at the point where the injector seats in the cylinder head. Designed specifically for the Porsche 928 (1978-83 / 928 / 928S) engines. Seamless compatibility reduces risk of improper sealing or damage.

Function:
•  It seals the fuel injector where it sits in the cylinder head of the engine.
•  Prevents fuel leaks and keeps air from entering around the injector.
•  Ensures the injector delivers the correct fuel spray and pressure into the combustion chamber.

Why It Matters:
•  If the sleeve/seal wears out, you can get fuel odors, leaks, or misfires.
•  A bad seal lets air escape or enter, messing up the engine’s fuel-air mixture and causing rough idle or performance loss.
•  It also prevents heat and vibration damage to the injector itself, extending its life.

Description:
This repair kit is used to overhaul the plugs for the injectors. As a rule, the clips break off at the plugs after the years and the rubber grommet is cracked by its kinked position on the valve. As a result, moisture penetrates to the plug contacts and cause them to corrode. If you do not want to procure a completely new engine wiring harness right away, you can use this repair kit to replace the plug-in contacts in the original way.
