The chassis stiffening kit is a must for ultimate handling- both the 914-6 GT and the 916 had them installed by the factory. You will never know what you've missed until you drive one with and then without the kit. The "with" is so much more definite in a hard corner, not suffering the chronic 914 flex.

Avoid Control Arm Failure

For Safari type cars we recommend reinforcing the control arms to help cope with the additional forces that off-road vehicles must deal with. 

These precision cut steel plates and gussets are to be welded at strategic locations to strengthen the factory control arms.
