This set instrument discs is made of high quality acrylic glass in true to original form. The set of five discs fits exactly the Porsche 911 G model instruments and replaces your cracked, scratched or blind instrument discs. The glasses are in no way inferior to the original and are hardly distinguishable from the original after peeling off the green protective foil.

Note :that the diameters of the instrument cluster and fuel gauge vary between models. Also, the central hole with paragraph for the dial of the clock is not identical on all models. With our ready-made sets you get the right lenses for your Porsche instruments.

There are multiple tooth count options that can and will be installed in this odometer. You will need to count the teeth on the old gear before ordering. The outside gear will have 20 teeth and the smaller inner gear between 21 and 32.

What This Product Does:

• The ring functions as a retaining / sealing / clamping ring around instrument-gauges (like clock, fuel, oil level gauges) in the dashboard / instrument cluster. It holds them in place and provides a seal or cushion so the gauge is properly seated.
• Because it’s rubber, it helps dampen vibration, reduce rattling, and maintain a snug fit — preventing small movements of the gauge that might cause noise or damage.
• It may also help with sealing against dust / light moisture ingress, assisting the long-term integrity of the instrument dial / lens.

Symptoms When It’s Worn Or Needs Replacing:

• Gauge (e.g. clock / oil level gauge / fuel level) is loose, rattling, or not firmly seated in the instrument cluster.
• Light dust or moisture getting behind the instrument cluster or watch lenses.
• Small vibrations or rattling noises coming from behind the dashboard, especially over bumps.
• The rubber ring being visibly cracked, brittle, deformed, or missing.
• Gauge bezel or housing misalignment (the gauge might not sit flush).

Description:

This conversion kit can be used to convert speedometers from the '84-'89 911G (except turbo) that are from US first delivery and have a 20x30 gear as the drive on the worm.

The kit includes the four gears that come in power flow order right after the electric motor with the drive worm. Also included is the corresponding speedometer pulley and a new speedometer glass.

Please note that this set can only be used for tachos that originally have a 20x30 dual gear.
Also, the shape of the housing shown in the product images is important to fit the new gears.
