The Porsche 356 in itself is responsible for the huge Porsche success story that followed, But it is the early Pre-A 356s, one of the earliest cars Porsche ever built – the grandfather of them all – which are most coveted by purists for their originality. Early right-hand drive examples are becoming increasingly difficult to find and are true rare collector's items.
