Brake hydraulic hoses are flexible lines that connect the rigid brake lines running along your vehicle’s body or frame to the brake calipers. These hoses are specially engineered and sized to move with the suspension, allowing for smooth travel as the vehicle goes over bumps and uneven road surfaces.
Because they carry brake fluid and transmit hydraulic pressure to the calipers or wheel cylinders, it’s essential to inspect brake hoses regularly. Over time, rubber hoses can deteriorate, with the inner lining shrinking and restricting fluid flow, which negatively affects braking performance
