SOUND: The Streetsport exhaust coaxes out more of the characteristics of the boxer engine - a deeper rumble with a refined Porsche tone. This system is very livable with no droning, and the activation of Sport mode greatly increases cracks and pops during shifting and overrun conditions. Expect a slight increase in turbo sound as well - which can be enhanced even further at any point with the separate addition of our Sport Catalytic Converter.
POWER: Fabspeed's Streetsport Cat back Exhaust added 4 whp and 11 ft-lbs of torque peak power gains when tested on our Dynojet on a stock vehicle. 8 whp and 11 ft-lbs at 3,500 RPM will make a significant difference in drivability. The increased exhaust flow helps tremendously at high RPM, unlocking 19 whp and 20 ft-lbs of torque at 5,000 RPM. We look forward to extracting even more power with our hardware in conjunction with a Fabspeed ECU Tune at a later date as soon as possible.

For late model exhaust brackets
The Fabspeed Lightweight Competition Exhaust System for the 718 4.0L cars was specifically designed to be the lightest, best performing exhaust possible. Our design process started with 3D scanning the entire exhaust system using our CREAFORM 700 Handscan so that we could make a complete Solidworks 3D model of the exhaust. We then designed the exhaust and fixtures using that model so that the exhaust fit perfectly to OEM standards. After multiple revisions for sound and dyno testing we settled on 2.5' 63.5mm tubing with a crossover tube to increase exhaust scavenging and reduce drone. The flanges are thick 304 stainless steel that we CAD designed to perfectly match the OEM flanges and reuse the factory metal gaskets.
SOUND: This systems deletes the factory PSE valves so it always provides an aggressive snarl no matter what RPM you're at. This system will be a significant increase in volume, with minimal cabin drone in the lower rpm region.

For late model exhaust brackets

The Fabspeed Valvetronic X-Pipe Exhaust System for the 718 4.0L cars wakes up the sleepy Porsche PSE exhaust and gives them a truly exotic sports car sound all while retaining the functionality of PSE (Porsche Sport Exhaust). Our design process started with 3D scanning the entire exhaust system using our CREAFORM 700 Handscan so that we could make a complete Solidworks 3D model of the exhaust. We then designed the exhaust and fixtures using that model so that the exhaust fit perfectly to OEM standards. After multiple revisions for sound and dyno testing we settled on using our CAD flow engineered investment cast X-Pipe and 2.5" 63.5 mm tubing for the most power and exotic sports car sound. The CAD flow modeled X-pipe is an exclusive Fabspeed part that gives a smooth high pitched exotic sound and flows much better than a X-Pipe handmade from U bends cut and welded together. The exhaust valves we use are made by Helical Limited in the United Kingdom. These ISO 9001 certified valves are the same ones Ferrari, McLaren and Porsche use on their GT cars. The flanges are thick 304 stainless steel that we CAD designed to perfectly match the OEM flanges and reuse the factory metal gaskets.
SOUND: With PSE off our Valvetronic exhaust gives a nice increase in volume without any cabin drone. With PSE on and the valves open it turns the 4.0L's exhaust note into a truly exotic sound with a significant increase in volume. This system will turn heads as you rip by.
POWER: When used in conjunction with our GPF Delete Over Axle Pipes we saw a gain of 14 HP and 32 ft/lbs of TQ at 2400 RPM, 8 HP and 9 ft/lbs of TQ at 4900 RPM and 12 HP and 8 ft/lbs of TQ at 7500 RPM. This is low end torque you'll really feel around town and horsepower that continues all the way up to redline.

The Akrapovič sound engineers have produced a rich, harmonic, high-frequency tone from the system in the upper rev range, which perfectly combines with the deep sound in the lower range to provide an aural experience in the cabin with no drone and a sound that lingers long after the throttle is released.
Constructed from lightweight high-grade titanium, with parts made in the in-house foundry to create a perfect fit within the limited space available, the three mufflers – two side and one central – are configured in a unique way, perfectly engineered by the Akrapovič technicians. There is a choice between two different sets of round titanium tailpipes, sandblasted and coated, and available in a natural titanium finish or black. The inner side of the tailpipes features a dynamic relief surface for increased aesthetic value. An engraved logotype adds to the visual presence.
Power gains of +4.8 kW at 3,000 rpm and a torque increase of +15.8 Nm at 2,900 rpm were recorded on the Akrapovič dyno, using a Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 with a stock exhaust system for comparison. This gives the system – which is designed for racing track use only, and is not intended for street use – performance to match its looks and innovative design.
Optional extras are available: there is a Link pipe set in titanium for the Slip-On Line Race (Titanium) upgrade, and a carbon-fibre diffuser, in matte or high gloss, can be added to emphasise the design of the Akrapovič exhaust tailpipes. For more control over the exhaust system's sound, the optional Akrapovič Sound Kit is available to control the exhaust valves at any time and allow the driver to choose the setting preferred.

The Fabspeed Valvetronic X-Pipe Exhaust System for the 718 4.0L cars wakes up the sleepy Porsche PSE exhaust and gives them a truly exotic sports car sound all while retaining the functionality of PSE (Porsche Sport Exhaust). Our design process started with 3D scanning the entire exhaust system using our CREAFORM 700 Handscan so that we could make a complete Solidworks 3D model of the exhaust. We then designed the exhaust and fixtures using that model so that the exhaust fit perfectly to OEM standards. After multiple revisions for sound and dyno testing we settled on using our CAD flow engineered investment cast X-Pipe and 2.5" 63.5 mm tubing for the most power and exotic sports car sound. The CAD flow modeled X-pipe is an exclusive Fabspeed part that gives a smooth high pitched exotic sound and flows much better than a X-Pipe handmade from U bends cut and welded together. The exhaust valves we use are made by Helical Limited in the United Kingdom. These ISO 9001 certified valves are the same ones Ferrari, McLaren and Porsche use on their GT cars. The flanges are thick 304 stainless steel that we CAD designed to perfectly match the OEM flanges and reuse the factory metal gaskets.
SOUND: With PSE off our Valvetronic exhaust gives a nice increase in volume without any cabin drone. With PSE on and the valves open it turns the 4.0L's exhaust note into a truly exotic sound with a significant increase in volume. This system will turn heads as you rip by.
POWER: When used in conjunction with our GPF Delete Over Axle Pipes we saw a gain of 14 HP and 32 ft/lbs of TQ at 2400 RPM, 8 HP and 9 ft/lbs of TQ at 4900 RPM and 12 HP and 8 ft/lbs of TQ at 7500 RPM. This is low end torque you'll really feel around town and horsepower that continues all the way up to redline.

SOUND:
With PSE (Porsche Sport Exhaust) on and the valves open, this system turns the 4.0L's exhaust note into a truly exotic sound with a significant increase in volume. This system will turn heads as you rip by, some jeers from the nearby pedestrians may have you hitting the accelerator a little more often. Tolerable enough for street driving and highway cruising but definitely not a subtle sunday-mass regular.
POWER:
After many dyno hours and incremental refinements to our design we were able to achieve dyno gains of 27 WHP and 19 FT/LBS of TQ at 7500 RPM. Best of all, power gains are seen as low as 3700 RPM, so there are power gains across the entire power band!
