Heater tube set that fit inside the rear side members. Fits inside 91150101146GRV/1 and 91150101246GRV/1
Our new heater tubing allows you to restore the connection from the heater valve in the engine bay to the front of the car. This tubing runs inside the reinforcement side member on both sides of the car, through the sills and is typically a challenging part to manufacture.
The new DANSK parts save you significant fabrication time and ensure your repair and restoration are faster and in line with original specifications

This Heater Tube is a direct replacement for Porsche early air-cooled 911/912 models. Designed to sit inside the longitudinal/frame member, this 2-piece tube assembly routes warm air from the engine’s heat exchangers through the chassis and into the interior heater system.
Fits:
- Porsche 911 1965-1968 2.0L / 912 SWB (F)
- Porsche 911 1968-1973 2.2L / 2.4L / 2.7L RS LWB (F)

What This Product Does:
- They route warm air from the engine’s heater outlets through the car’s inner rocker / longitudinal frame members toward the front cabin heater system.
- Inside the sill/longitudinal structure, they form part of the air path that carries warmed air (generated by the heat exchangers on the engine) forward into the cabin ventilation ducts under the dash.
- Once the warm air reaches the front heater box area, it continues through other hoses and flaps to the vents, footwells and windscreen demisters.
Symptoms Of Wear Or Failure:
- Even with the heater turned on, you’ll get little to no warm air into the cabin because the tube is rusted through, leaking, or blocked.
- One side of the car may blow warmer than the other if only one tube is damaged (left or right).
- If the tube is crushed, collapsed, or internally corroded, airflow can be restricted, causing weak blower/heater output.
- Failed tubes can contribute to moisture buildup inside the longitudinal, which can cause musty smells and accelerate corrosion in the surrounding structure.
- Since these tubes help deliver warm air forward, failure often shows up as weak windscreen demist performance, especially in cold or wet weather.
- Replacing a failed heater tube ensures that the cabin gets heated air as originally intended, improving driver comfort and safety in cooler weather.
- Rust and deterioration inside the frame member can worsen over time. A compromised tube may allow moisture and corrosion to spread, damaging surrounding components.
- For classic car restorations, keeping systems like the heating ductwork correct and complete helps preserve authenticity and value — especially important with vintage Porsches.
