ECU REMAPPING FOR PERFORMANCE
On turbo cars, catalytic converter replacement may modify turbocharger operating conditions and cause a deterioration of the torque delivery curve. To ensure full benefit from the new racing component, the engine's ECU must be reprogrammed to maximise performance. If the engine warning light comes on, the ECU must always be reprogrammed to eliminate it.

These modular headers are the perfect solution for any street driven 992 GT3. Our RENNKRAFT™ modular design features a quick release V-band connector that allows the owner to easily swap between our German made HJS 200 cell cats and QUICKTRACK™ cat bypass "straight pipes" for track use (patent pending). Rennkraft, translated from German is "race power". These unique headers offer true street and racetrack functionality in an innovative precision engineered package.
SOUND:
Many say sound is a subjective thing, but we like to think we've made the 992 GT3 sound objectively better with these high flowing headers. Equipped with our 200 cell cats, you will get a louder exhaust note with a much more raw sound. Higher frequency tones are more defined, and deceleration burbles are more robust and transparent. With the cat bypass pipes installed, the GT3 turns into a motorsport bred monster. At [art throttle the volume isn't overbearing, but the sound is very aggressive and race bred. With the stock muffler in place, there is no drone what-so-ever, even with the cat bypass option installed.
POWER:
After extensive dyno development we found the optimal header length and diameter. With no tune, compared to a stock car we gained 16 whp and 20 ft/lbs of TQ with the Sport Cats and 19 whp and 26 ft/lbs of TQ with Cat Bypass installed. That's a gain of 19 HP and 23 HP, respectively, at the crank! Peak horsepower also increased from our baseline of 452 whp to 461 whp with our HJS Sport Cats and 468 whp with Cat Bypass Pipes. This is a complete headers to tips exhaust solution for the 992 GT3. Designed to be the most powerful emissions compliant exhaust system possible. We used all 25+ years of Porsche exhaust design experience and our finest manufacturing techniques to engineer this incredible modular system. We started with the headers. From our experience designing our 991/991.2 Long Tube Headers, we knew that "long tube" headers were essential for making BIG power on the GT3 platform. After dozens of dyno runs and many revisions to runner length, diameter, and collector design we moved on to the catalytic converters and rear section. With perfectly optimized headers and cats, there was no room to fit the factory muffler section, so that went out the window. In its place we implemented extra large 200 cell HJS cats and our signature cast X-pipe. These cats flow so much better than stock, that we only gained 1-2 peak WHP when we tested the system with no cats. You can see the dyno graph for yourself above. Finally, after much testing we found that our cast X-pipe provided some significant gains from 3-6K RPM when compared to a simple crossover tube. With the RENNKRAFT™ system, you can easily swap between catted and cat bypass using the quick release v-band clamps (patent pending). So if you're going to the track you can swap in cat-bypass pipes.
SOUND:
This system isn't for the faint of heart, it'll turn your GT3 into a snarling race-bred monster. This system is LOUD, it pops and gurgles, and it will absolutely scream at redline. This is at the cost of some interior drone and day-to-day livability.
POWER:
This is the way; the most powerful emissions compliant 992 GT3 exhaust system on the market. Max gains of 31 WHP and 39 ft/lbs of TQ are seen at 4250 RPM. That's 35 HP at the crank! Several parts are cast in the in-house foundry, including the three-in-one collectors designed for smooth gas flow.
The weight is 5 kg (51.9%) less than the standard system and, when installed with the Slip-On Race Line (Titanium) and Link Pipe Set (Titanium), power and torque increase by 26 kW (35.4 hp) at 4,900 rpm and by 50.9 Nm at 4,900 rpm when tested on the Akrapovič dyno against a Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS with a standard stock system. Showcasing the special manifold crossover pipes in the headers, cast in the Akrapovič in-house titanium foundry, this innovative design comes directly from race-proven exhaust systems, and this is the first time it has featured in an Akrapovič aftermarket car exhaust. This masterpiece of engineering is designed solely to optimize the performance of the Slip-On Race Line (Titanium) in the midrange. Many parts in the headers are cast in the in-house foundry, and the complete use of titanium results in a weight saving of 3.8 kg, which is 28% lighter than the stock equivalent.
Tuned quarter-length resonators in addition to the catalytic converters ensure the sound quality and the absence of any distortion or unwanted frequencies, creating a unique sound experience. Featuring tuned quarter-length resonators and catalytic converters, the system eliminates unwanted frequencies and distortion, delivering a unique, exhilarating sound. The result is a rich, high-frequency exhaust note with a +10.1 dB increase at 3,750 rpm, enhancing the car’s visceral driving experience while reflecting Akrapovič’s motorsport heritage.
Performance
Engineered for closed-course competition circuits, the Evolution Header Set unlocks the true potential of the Slip-On Race Line system. By further reducing back pressure and optimising exhaust routing, this upgrade delivers combined impressive gains of +19.6 hp at 4,4750 rpm and +36.4 ft-lb of torque at 2,600 rpm. The titanium construction reduces weight by 3.8 kg, making it 28% lighter than the stock headers. This weight reduction improves vehicle agility, handling, and overall balance. When paired with the Slip-On Race Line, this combination transforms the GT3 RS into even more of a track-ready powerhouse. ECU remapping is mandatory for vehicles equipped with particulate filters (OPF) and recommended for non-OPF vehicles to maximise performance and prevent warning signals.

When installing the Akrapovič Evolution Header Set (Titanium) on vehicles with particulate filters, remapping the ECU is mandatory to prevent potential “check engine light” warning signals. When installing the Akrapovič Evolution Header Set (Titanium) on vehicles without particulate filters, remapping the ECU is recommended.
This system fits also on vehicles equipped with Otto particulate filter (OPF).
This product does not fit on standard 911 GT3 (992) version.
