Product Information
Throttle body. Size: 68mm. The Fuel Injection Throttle Body is a key component of your vehicle’s fuel injection system. Its primary function is to regulate the amount of air flowing into the engine. This is achieved through a throttle plate that opens and closes in response to the driver’s accelerator input. By controlling the air intake, the throttle body helps maintain the proper air-fuel mixture for efficient combustion, optimal performance, and fuel economy.

Common Symptoms of a Faulty Throttle Body

1. Poor Acceleration or Hesitation
If your vehicle struggles to accelerate or hesitates when you press the gas pedal, the throttle body could be to blame. A sticking or malfunctioning throttle plate may not open or close properly, restricting airflow and affecting engine response.

2. Rough Idle or Stalling
A dirty or failing throttle body can disrupt the air-fuel balance, leading to a rough idle or even engine stalling—especially when stopping or driving at low speeds.

3. Check Engine Light
A malfunctioning throttle body often triggers the Check Engine Light. Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) related to the throttle position sensor or airflow system may appear, signalling issues that need professional attention.
