Stabilizer Bar Bush Rear 23.70mm.

The Rear Stabilizer Bar Bush (23.70mm) is a high-quality suspension bushing designed to securely mount and support the rear anti-roll bar (stabilizer bar) on compatible Porsche models, commonly the Porsche Cayenne platform. This bushing cushions the stabilizer bar where it mounts to the chassis, allowing controlled movement while reducing vibration and road noise.
Sold As Single Half - x4 Required Per Car.

The stabilizer bar plays an important role in reducing body roll during cornering and improving overall vehicle stability. Over time, stabilizer bar bushes can wear, harden, or crack due to age, heat, and constant suspension movement. Worn bushes may cause knocking noises over bumps, increased body roll, and less precise handling.

What This Product Does:
  • Supports the rear stabilizer bar by mounting it to the chassis
  • Reduces body lean during cornering, improving stability
  • Allows controlled bar movement while dampening vibration
  • Isolates road noise and harshness from the cabin
  • Helps maintain rear suspension geometry

Symptoms Of A Worn Or Failed Stabilizer Bush:

Handling & Stability Issues

  • Excessive body roll in corners
  • Reduced rear stability at speed
  • Less precise steering feel

Noise & Vibration

  • Clunking, knocking, or rattling from the rear suspension
  • Noise when driving over bumps or uneven surfaces

Wear & Tear Patterns

  • Accelerated wear of related suspension parts
  • Play or movement at the stabilizer bar mounting points

Visual Signs

  • Cracks, splits, or deformation in the rubber bushing
  • Bushings appear flattened or deteriorated

Why Replacement Matters:
  • Healthy bushings keep the stabilizer bar tight and responsive, reducing body lean and improving turn-in stability.
  • New bushings absorb vibration and isolate noise more effectively than old, hardened ones, resulting in a smoother ride.
  • Replacing worn bushings eliminates clunking and rattling caused by excessive play in the stabilizer bar mount.
  • Proper anti-roll bar support reduces stress on control arms, links, and shocks by controlling force distribution.
