Diagram ref no 1

As shock absorbers age, their damping performance deteriorates due to worn internal valves, leaks, seal wear or loss of fluid pressure. This degradation can lead to poor ride comfort, loss of control over suspension motion, increased body roll or instability - especially at higher speeds or under load. Replacing restores the original suspension performance and safety attributes.

When to replace:
Ride becomes overly soft, bouncy or unstable over bumps or dips
Rear feels vague, loose or unsettled under braking or cornering
Rear tyres show uneven or accelerated wear
Original shock is leaking fluid or the damping feels inconsistent
Completed high-mileage or old suspension refresh - replacing springs, mounts, bushings or other related parts
Preparing the vehicle for spirited driving, track use, or renewed performance expectations
