What This Product Does:
Keeps the brake hose (flexible line) securely attached to fixed brake line or mounting point, preventing movement, rubbing, or contact with other components.

Symptoms / Signs Of Wear Or Failure:

  • The brake hose seems loose or moves when nudged (something should hold it firmly in place).
  • Rubbing marks or wear on the hose where it may have been contacting surrounding metal parts.
  • Noise or vibration from the brake hose area, especially under braking or road feedback.
  • The clip is cracked, broken, or missing upon inspection.
  • Hose sagging or misrouted in the wheel well or near suspension components.

Why Replacement Matters:
  • Safety: A hose that moves or rubs can wear through its outer sheath, eventually risking a leak or hose failure.
  • Durability: Proper routing and secure attachment extend hose life by reducing chafing, bending stress, or vibration fatigue.
  • System integrity: Loose brake lines can move under braking, affecting pressure stability or interfering with other components.
  • Prevent damage: A sliding or loose hose may damage paint, wiring, or suspension parts.
