Retaining Clip For Brake Hose.
The Porsche Brake Hose Retaining Clip is a genuine OEM fastener designed to securely lock the flexible brake hose into its mounting bracket. This small but vital part ensures the brake hose remains firmly in place, preventing movement, rubbing, or kinking that could compromise braking performance.

What This Product Does:
Keeps the brake hose (flexible line) securely attached to fixed brake line or mounting point, preventing movement, rubbing, or contact with other components.

Symptoms / Signs Of Wear Or Failure:

  • The brake hose seems loose or moves when nudged (something should hold it firmly in place).
  • Rubbing marks or wear on the hose where it may have been contacting surrounding metal parts.
  • Noise or vibration from the brake hose area, especially under braking or road feedback.
  • The clip is cracked, broken, or missing upon inspection.
  • Hose sagging or misrouted in the wheel well or near suspension components.

Why Replacement Matters:
  • Safety: A hose that moves or rubs can wear through its outer sheath, eventually risking a leak or hose failure.

Hydra tec lubricant for maintenance work and protection Textar

The Advantages of Hydra Tec:

  • In addition, running surfaces are protected against corrosion

Hydra Tec is suitable for lubricating:

  • Cylinder running surfaces
  • Pistons
  • Sealing elements

Application:
Apply a thin layer of Hydra Tec on the marked sections.

Note:
Hydra Tec should be applied thinly and evenly. 
Never use mineral oils or greases as substitutes.
Do not apply the product on friction surfaces of brake pads or brake discs.
