Also known as the A/C desiccator or condenser dryer, this component filters refrigerant and removes moisture, ensuring the system operates efficiently and reliably.

Location: In the A/C system, mounted in line between the condenser and the expansion valve

What this product does:
•  Removes moisture and contaminants from the refrigerant
•  Acts as a reservoir for refrigerant in the A/C system
•  Protects the compressor and other A/C components from damage caused by water or debris

Over time, the receiver/drier becomes saturated with moisture or clogged with debris, reducing cooling efficiency and potentially damaging the A/C compressor. Replacing it with an OE Match unit during A/C service or after opening the system ensures long-lasting cooling performance, reliability, and protection for expensive components.
