What This Product Does:

• This electric motor is the drive mechanism that powers the opening, closing, and tilting motions of the glass sunroof (i.e. it’s the actuator for the sunroof).
  
• It transfers rotational force via gears or cable drives to move the sunroof panel along its tracks.
• Works in concert with control switches, limit switches, wiring, and the track assembly to move the roof smoothly and stop at the end positions (fully open, fully closed, vent tilt).
