The brake pad hardware kit contains precision-made retaining pins, spring clips, and securing clips that hold the brake pads in the caliper carrier. It ensures the pads are properly aligned and move as intended during braking, contributing to consistent pad wear and smooth performance.

Function: This kit maintains secure pad retention, allows controlled sliding action during braking, and helps minimise noise and vibration. Correct hardware is essential to ensure even braking force and prolong pad and rotor life.

Brake pad hardware is critical for proper braking performance. Over time, hardware can corrode, fatigue, or seize, leading to pad misalignment, noise, uneven wear, or reduced braking efficiency. Installing a genuine Porsche kit ensures original-standard retention and movement, helping maintain braking precision and vehicle safety.

When to replace. Replace your brake pad hardware kit when:
Hardware shows corrosion, bending, or wear
  Brake pads don’t slide freely
You hear noise or vibration from the brakes
You’re replacing brake pads or servicing calipers
