Up till now oversize bearings for the Porsche 996 and 986 Boxster have not been available.
If the crankshaft is worn you would need a full crank replacement. EPS have manufactured a solution that saves cost and downtime with oversized main and rod bearings for the 996 and 986 Boxster.
Our Porsche bearings are all over width for 15% more surface area contact on crank, making the bottom end of the engine stronger.
