This ignition coil is designed for use in select Porsche engines. Its function is to convert the output voltage of the vehicle's 12V battery into the high-voltage pulse required by each spark plug, ensuring efficient ignition of the fuel-air mixture and smooth engine operation.

•  Applications: Suitable replacement when original ignition coil shows wear, misfires, or performance issues — restoring reliable spark delivery, smooth running and correct engine behaviour.

The ignition coil is fundamental to your engine’s ignition system: it supplies the high-voltage spark to each cylinder. When a coil fails or degrades, symptoms may include misfires, rough idling, loss of power, increased emissions or even engine warning lights. Replacing a degraded unit with a fresh coil restores reliable ignition, optimal engine performance and helps prevent downstream damage (e.g., catalytic converter issues).
