The suspension control arms connect the suspension and steering knuckle to the chassis and allow the suspension to move and articulate over bumps and road imperfections. Control arms utilize bushings and ball joints to make these connections and those are the parts of the control arm that wear out and fail. Worn ball joints and bushings will cause vibration and clunking when driving, uneven tire wear, cause the vehicle to pull in one direction, and increase stopping distances.

Suspension Control Arm Kit

Control arms are crucial link in a vehicle's suspension connecting the suspension to a vehicle's subframe. These pieces are usually hinged to allow for suspension to travel and articulate as the vehicle rides over obstructions in the road and while the vehicle turns. Many vehicles such as those with independent suspensions have multiple links and feature several connection points and arms to offer better ride quality and comfort.

As bushings and joints in a control arm begin to wear you may notice a looseness feel in your suspension. And while many arms have replaceable and serviceable individual components, many still require the replacement of the entire arm.

• Clunking or knocking noises: Especially over bumps, potholes, or rough roads, caused by movement of a loose strut or spring.

Engine Cylinder Head Gasket Kit
The cylinder head gasket is a critical component that seals the cylinder head to the engine block. It serves several key functions, It seals the combustion chamber, ensuring proper compression for efficient engine performance. It prevents coolant and engine oil from mixing by sealing the fluid passages between the cylinder head and engine block.

Signs of Cylinder Head Gasket Failure
A failing head gasket can lead to serious engine problems. Common symptoms include:

• Engine overheating

The differential bushings secure the differential to the subframe. Over time, the rubber material naturally oxidizes, stretches, and deteriorates due to driving conditions and environmental exposure. As the bushings wear, the differential is allowed to shift, which can lead to clunking during acceleration, vibrations throughout the vehicle, and premature wear of the driveshaft and differential bearings.

This acts as a progressive load-bearing element, cushioning the suspension when the strut nears full compression. It helps prevent harsh bottoming-out, protecting both the strut and chassis from damage during aggressive driving or over bumps. These components maintain ride quality and handling performance, especially under heavy loading or spirited cornering, keeping the suspension linear and controlled. 

Common Issues & Considerations Wear or Deterioration: Over time, the rubber can compress, crack, or lose elasticity, diminishing its effectiveness. This can lead to harsher suspension impacts at full compression. Noise or Harsh Feedback: A worn or hardened bump stop can transmit noise or impacts through the cabin, particularly over rough roads or speed bumps. Sport vs. Standard Suspension: These parts are specific to Sport chassis models. Non-sport setups may not have the same bump stops or use different part numbers, so swapping or replacing must be done accordingly.

The valve stem seal, OEM part number 993 104 111 02 (sometimes superseding 993 104 111 01), is a component for the Porsche 993 series.

These seals are installed around the valve stems and serve to regulate, not entirely block, oil flow into the combustion chamber. They wipe excess oil off the valve stems and prevent undue oil burning or plug fouling. They are applicable across various 993 configurations—including the naturally aspirated Carrera and the Turbo variants—for 1994–1998 models.

Why You Should Replace Them

Over time, valve stem seals, typically rubber or elastomeric, can harden, crack, or shrink, especially under high heat and engine age—which compromises their sealing effectiveness.

Visible Symptoms:

• Blue exhaust smoke, particularly upon a cold start—leftover oil seeps past hardened seals and burns in the combustion chamber.
• Increased oil consumption without noticeable external leaks, as oil is being burned rather than escaping visibly.
• Smoke or puffing at idle or after deceleration, when high vacuum draws oil past failing seals.
• Compression or misfiring issues—oil-fouled spark plugs can disrupt ignition, and carbon buildup may mimic compression loss.
