A Quick Look at Porsche
Porsche information on this page is based on details supplied by the manufacturer or distributor, plus any OE references provided with the parts.
Choosing the Right Fit for Your Porsche
Where Porsche is listed for Porsche, use the supplied model coverage and OE references to confirm suitability. Check details that commonly affect fitment such as model year, side/position, and connector type where relevant.
- Typical reasons people replace these parts include maintaining originality, keeping factory specification, and choosing the latest genuine revisions for peace of mind.
- Common real-world issues behind many Porsche repairs are age and mileage: oil leaks, cooling system fatigue, brake and suspension wear, corrosion and electrical faults from moisture or heat cycling.
- Before ordering, confirm part numbers against VIN or option/PR codes, especially for safety‑critical or complex components.
- When upgrading, decide whether you want pure originality or performance changes, as some aftermarket options may suit specific goals better than genuine.
- For bigger jobs, replace related seals, hardware and consumables at the same time to avoid repeat labour and compatibility issues.
- Where available, follow the manufacturer’s fitting and bedding‑in guidance to get the best performance and longevity.

Porsche Tequipment offers a Manthey Performance Kit for the current 911 GT3 for even better performance on circuits. The 911 GT3 with Manthey Performance Kit lapped the Nürburgring's Nordschleife in 6:55.737 minutes. This is exactly 4.19 seconds faster than the 911 GT3 without kit.
The modifications are focused on aerodynamics and chassis components. The new Performance Kit was developed in close collaboration between the Porsche engineers in Weissach and the Nordschleife specialists from Manthey in Meuspath. The Porsche Tequipment circuit-optimised components are sold through Porsche Centres.
Significant increase in downforce
The extensive changes to the aero package are what make the Manthey Performance Kit for the 911 GT3 recognisable. A larger spoiler lip and side flaps are fitted at the front of the car. In conjunction with the modified air guide elements on the underbody, they increase the downforce on the front axle. The modifications at the rear are even more pronounced. The swan-neck-supported wing of the 911 GT3 is wider, and now features a tear-off edge (Gurney). The end plates with their distinctive Manthey logos have also been enlarged, as has the wing’s angle of attack. The fins of the rear diffuser have been extended and are now made of CFRP. The aerodiscs on the rear wheels, which are also made of CFRP, further enhance the car’s aerodynamic efficiency.
In collaboration with Manthey, Porsche has developed special four-way coilover suspension for the 911 GT3 that can be adapted for use on the circuit. The suspension struts can be adjusted to four positions, and rebound and compression can be tweaked without tools. The moderate changes to the spring rates (10 percent higher on the front axle, seven percent lower on the rear) contribute to improved on-the-limit handling, without making any compromises necessary when it comes to day-to-day usability.
Adaptable coilover suspension
A lightweight forged wheel set with 20- and 21-inch rims is available as an option for the Porsche 911 GT3. They reduce unsprung mass by a total of 7.3 kilograms. They are available in Brilliant Silver, Dark Silver, Neodyme and (satin-gloss) Black. A set of brake lines with steel braids come as standard with the kit. They guarantee a very precise pressure point and thereby ensure optimal modulation of the brakes. Special racing brake pads are available as an option for the 911 GT3 with the Manthey Performance Kit. Door projectors and illuminated door sill guards with the Manthey logo help to personalise the car visually. A towing loop is also included in the kit.

This Porsche Genuine OE Coolant Return Water Hose is a factory-engineered cooling system hose designed for the Porsche 911 (996) Carrera 3.4L models. This molded hose forms part of the engine’s water-cooling circuit and is specifically designed to route coolant through the return section of the system.
Fits:
Porsche 996 C2 3.4L 1998 - 2001 MANUAL
Diagram ref no 3
This product supersedes Porsche's old part numbers: 99610664156, 99610664158.
The coolant return hose carries coolant from the engine return line to the main distribution/return pipe within the cooling system. This circulation allows heated coolant to travel back through the system where it can be cooled and recirculated through the engine.
By maintaining steady coolant flow through the engine’s cooling circuit, the hose helps regulate engine temperature and prevent overheating during both normal driving and high-load conditions.
Functions & Technical Role
• Coolant circulation: Transfers coolant through the return side of the cooling circuit
• Temperature management: Supports stable engine operating temperature
• Pressure tolerance: Built to withstand cooling system pressure and temperature fluctuations
• Flexible connection: Absorbs engine vibration and movement within the cooling system
• OE precision: Molded to Porsche specifications for exact routing and fitment
Fitment / Position on Car:
• Fitting position: Engine cooling system
• Location: Between the engine coolant return line and the main distribution/return pipe
• System: Engine coolant circulation / radiator cooling circuit
Coolant hoses operate under constant heat, pressure, and vibration, which can cause rubber to deteriorate over time. Aging hoses may crack or weaken, increasing the risk of coolant leaks and potential engine overheating. Replacing worn hoses with genuine Porsche OE components helps maintain the reliability and efficiency of the engine cooling system.

This Porsche Genuine OE Coolant Supply Water Hose is an original-equipment cooling system hose designed specifically for the Porsche 911 (996) Carrera 4 with the 3.4 L engine. Manufactured to Porsche’s factory specifications, this hose provides the exact fit, material quality, and durability required to maintain reliable coolant circulation within the engine cooling system.
Fits:
Porsche 996 C4 3.4L 1998 - 2001
Diagram ref no 1
This genuine Porsche hose replaces earlier part numbers 99610674003 and 99610674004, ensuring compatibility with the original cooling system design used in early 996 Carrera 4 models.
The coolant supply water hose carries engine coolant between key cooling system components, helping transport hot coolant from the engine to the radiator or distribution pipes where heat is dissipated. By maintaining steady coolant flow, it helps regulate engine temperature and prevents overheating.
A correctly functioning coolant hose ensures the cooling system maintains proper pressure and flow, allowing the engine to operate within its designed temperature range even under high load or spirited driving conditions.
Functions & Technical Role
• Coolant transfer: Moves coolant between the engine and the main cooling supply pipes
• Temperature regulation: Supports the cooling system in maintaining optimal engine operating temperature
• Pressure resistance: Designed to withstand high coolant pressure and temperature cycles
• Durable construction: Manufactured from heat- and ozone-resistant rubber compounds for long service life
• OEM precision fit: Exact hose shape and connections to match Porsche’s original cooling layout
Fitment / Position on Car
• Installed on: Engine cooling system
• Location: Between the rear coolant supply pipe and the main distribution pipe / radiator supply line
• Function: Forms part of the primary coolant circulation circuit between engine and cooling components.
Coolant hoses are exposed to constant heat, pressure, and vibration. Over time they can harden, crack, or leak, which may lead to coolant loss and potential engine overheating. Replacing worn hoses with genuine Porsche OE parts ensures the correct material quality, fitment, and durability required to maintain the performance and reliability of the Porsche cooling system.
