The autoclave process is another important step to finish our products. In the autoclave, the high pressure and temperature are the key to our products’ tensile strength, which can be up to 15 times higher than steel.
Unlike the Wet carbon fibre where the resin is applied into carbon fibre cloth to form a sturdy structure, dry carbon fibre parts are generally 50-60% lighter than those made of wet carbon fibre and the strength of these two materials are also different.
Another thing that is hard to overlook is the finish, dry carbon creates a beautiful & clean weave in the autoclave while wet carbon comes out to be otherwise. Even average dry carbon is way better than wet carbon in looks, strength and weight.
