Porsche 912 1966-67
- Sold as a complete set of 4 bearings (2 per control arm): one kit is all you need per vehicle.
PolyBronze bearings are superior to plastic bushing alternatives, here’s why:
Suspension mounts are coarse sheet metal pressings. They tend to be out-of-round and have irregularities that deform ordinary polyurethane bushings, pinching and binding the friction surface. Polyurethane is “grippy” with an inherently high coefficient of friction and combined with pinching polyurethane bushings create a lot of friction. The result is a harsh ride and reduced tire adhesion.
PolyBronze have a rigid bronze bearing core that does not deform. The polyurethane jacket absorbs mount irregularities while the bronze inner bearing remains true, providing a free-moving machined-fit that rides on a precision race. Provided grease fittings make re-lubrication a breeze and a figure 8 groove keeps grease in place.
The combination delivers zero squeaks and friction-free suspension movement. Well suited to street or track, ride quality.
PolyBronze is a precision bronze bearing encased in a polyurethane jacket. The combination delivers a smooth-ride with the extreme performance of a metal bearing.
- No squeaks or binding
- Extremely smooth ride quality
- Easier to install than rubber bushings
- Integrated grease fittings and grooves

Avoid Control Arm Failure
For Safari type cars we recommend reinforcing the control arms to help cope with the additional forces that off-road vehicles must deal with.
These precision cut steel plates and gussets are to be welded at strategic locations to strengthen the factory control arms.

Coilover brake line support bracket kit.
Fits:
Porsche 911 - 1965 to 1989
Standard front struts have welded-on brackets to support the brake hard line. Threaded body coilover struts and coilover sleeve conversion require the removal of these brackets, leaving the brake lines unsupported and prone to failure – always at the worst possible time.
- Our support bracket kit is an easy bolt-on support for the brake lines and bolts to existing threaded holes on the strut.
- Easy bolt-on – Attaches to the brake dust shield mounting holes using provided hardware. dust shields can be retained or removed.
- Prevents brake hard line flex / fatigue – Supports the brake hard line. Unsupported, the hard line will constantly flex and eventually leak.
- Quality throughout – Purpose made brackets are laser – cut from stainless steel and pre-formed. Top quality hardware is provided to complete the kit.

Helper springs have a very low rate and collapse under the car’s weight and their purpose is to keep the main spring tensioned when the wheel goes to full droop under hard cornering (lifted wheel), over bumps, and on the jack.
Helper springs are required in any coilover setup in which the mainspring looses tension at full droop – that is most coilover setups. If the following formula is true, you need helper springs:
Corner weight / Wheel rate < rebound travel
Without helpers, the main spring may not re-seat properly and will cause a sudden change to that corner weight/height.
Correct spring divider hardware is required between the main and helper springs.
Helper springs are available in a variety of diameters and lengths.

✓ Laser Cut – Fits the profile of the shock tower perfectly.
✓ Strong – Solidly ties the towers and cross-member into unibody box sections and inner wheel well. Distributes the shock loads properly and reinforces the entire section.
✓ Holes – Great appearance and convenient routing of hoses and wires.
✓ Weld from one side – Fully seam weld without removing rear firewall.
✓ Light Weight – Properly engineered to distribute loads, not 'over engineered' with excess material and weight.
When converting the 911 torsion bar rear suspension to coilover, the rear shock towers should be reinforced. Coilover springs introduce loads the towers were not designed to handle. Without reinforcement, cracks can develop over time – most frequently between the crossmember and unibody box sections.
Our reinforcement kit strengthens this vulnerable area and properly distributes coilover spring loads.
Rear Shock Tower Reinforcement
Our brackets make it easy to get a professional result, saving you the time and guesswork cutting your own.
This kit requires welding for installation.

This kit prevents dash fault codes from appearing when replacing original electronically controlled PASM type shocks/dampers with conventional shocks or coilovers on Porsche cars.
These modules plug into the control harness in place of the original PASM shocks, emulating their behavior. This satisfies the vehicle ECU tests and prevents the fault messages.
- Eliminates PASM fault messages
- Works with all Porsche cars originally PASM equipped
- May work on other vehicles
- Easy installation, no programming

Please note
For cars (1969 to 1973) the 1974-1989 style factory external oil thermostat must be used
Our proprietary design finned oil lines directly replace the factory lines that connect the external thermostat to the front fender mounted oil cooler.
Elephant Racing Purge Valve
No more partial oil changes. Built-in valve lets you evacuate the oil cooler and lines using compressed air. A quick blast forces dirty oil from the lines and cooler into the oil tank. Removes 1-2 quarts the engine and tank drain plugs leave behind.
Brass construction for corrosion resistance and full-flow high-quality fittings make Elephant Racing oil lines the choice solution. The lines are formed perfectly – just like OEM.
- Substantial temperature reduction
- Purge valve clears dirty oil from system
- Easy bolt-on installation
- No duct work, sits in air stream under car
- OEM Fit
- Light weight
As shown in the cutaway, cooling fins are formed directly on the oil lines. The fins yield a four-fold increase in heat-dissipating surface area. The combined length of two lines is about 17 feet and with fins they become a giant oil cooler.
Our proprietary finned oil lines dissipate more heat.
A true bolt-in replacement that connects directly to the factory fittings, they can be used in combination with factory or aftermarket fender and valance mounted coolers.

Our Plated & Plugged Hollow torsion bars are the best available. The ends are plugged to prevent moisture entry that rots ordinary hollow bars from the inside out. The entire bar is zinc plated for superior protection.
Excellent quality control means proper spline fit and spring-rate consistency bar-to-bar. Inferior quality competing bars fail on all counts.
• Hollow, light weight
• Plated & Plugged
• Consistent spring rate
• Great spline fit
Upgrade Hollow bars provide a nice weight savings over equivalent spring rate solid bars, especially true of the heavier rear bars. This is a great way to trim extra pounds from the back of your car.
* The size given is a solid-bar-equivalent. Actual hollow bar measures about. 5mm larger.

Fits:
Porsche 992 Front Only
Does Not Fit 992 GT3
GT3 Lower Control Arms (LCA)
992 GT3 cars are equipped with a special front GT3 control arm that is two-piece and length-adjustable by fitting shims between the halves. The changeable length allows for aggressive camber settings and track width adjustment, increasing cornering grip and performance.
Unfortunately the stock 992 GT3 control arm cannot be fit to a non-GT3 992 because the ball joint end is completely different.
That’s why we created these GT3 type front lower control arms to fit the 992 C2, C4 and Turbo cars.
Our GT3 ERX LCAs for the 922 provides the same type front camber and track width adjustment for non-GT3 992 cars.
The GT3 ERX lower control arm is a system built up of three component parts, each ordered separately:
– GT3 ERX adjustable outer lower control arm
– GT3 adjustable inner lower control arm
– GT3 lower control arms shims (various thicknesses, stackable)
GT3 ERX Front Outer Lower Control Arms
Elephant Racing has developed an upgraded GT3 type front lower control arm for the non-GT3 992 cars. Our GT3 type arms have the correct ball joint style for fitment to 992 C2, C4 and Turbo cars. They do not fit 992 GT3 cars.
Like the factory lower control arms, the Elephant Racing outer arm has an integrated ball joint that is weather sealed. Unlike the factory lower control arms, the ball joint in the Elephant Racing arms is rebuildable and we offer the rebuild kit allowing you to renew the arm when needed.
The GT3 ERX LCAs have features to accept the factory height sensor and air deflectors.
The outer arms are sold as a left and right side pair, to be combined with our GT3 inner lower control arms – orderable separately.
These can be paired with a choice of GT3 lower control arms inner:
– Elephant Racing GT3 lower control arm inner rubber bushing
– Elephant Racing GT3 lower control arm inner spherical bearing
